Provide professional guidance and coaching to school-based staff and ensure the coordination of appropriate resources in identified schools to address areas of disproportionality. Work with multiple schools and the central office to support students. Support schools in building capacity to meet the needs of all learners while ensuring all initiatives align with system-wide goals identified in the strategic plan.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collaboration with district and school leaders to rate and align Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervention Support (CCEIS) action plan resources, interventions, strategies, and initiatives to support positive student outcomes.
- Assist in planning and executing professional development to increase awareness of the root causes of disproportionality and provide strategies and interventions that promote a positive culture and climate in identified schools.
- Support activities including focused observation and feedback, research-based instructional and behavioral modeling, and coaching to implement behavioral interventions.
- Provide coaching and serve as a resource to support the use of research-based interventions related to behavior, academics, and/or social-emotional learning strategies using best practices.
- Support administrators, teachers, and other school staff in identifying root causes of disproportionality and promote ways to meet students' social and emotional needs.
- Provide resources and support in Tiered Interventions and Supports.
- Assist in collaboration with central office staff to support the utilization of district resources.
- Attend required coaching, team and school meetings, and professional development.
- Monitor and ensure alignment of work with the annual CCEIS corrective action plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three years of successful teaching experience.
- Leadership/management experience in a PreK-12 public educational setting preferred.
- Experience in math or ELA, early childhood, elementary, or secondary preferred.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Possession of a Maryland Educator Professional Certificate appropriate to the area of assignment, or possession of, or eligibility for, a Maryland Educator Professional License appropriate to the area of assignment.
- Possession of a Maryland Educator Advanced Professional Certificate or Advanced Professional License is preferred.
Skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Expertise and experience in assessment/data analysis and instruction for ages three through 21.
- Strong human relations, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer/technology skills.
Pay
Salary range: $62,252 - $121,924. Position may be eligible for relocation bonus, extra duty activities pay, or other student activities pay as defined in the applicable Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Schedule
This is a 10-month position. Work schedules may include nights and weekends and will require occasional work beyond normally scheduled hours.
This is a grant-funded position, contingent upon annual renewal. Travel to schools throughout Baltimore County is required.
