About the role
Student Support Associate and After School Mentors lead students in fun, engaging, and developmentally aligned after-school programming that provides daily academic, recreation, and enrichment activities for Transitional Kindergarten (TK)—8th-grade students. This is a full-time, school-site-based position with morning and afternoon hours, approximately 40 hours per week (MON-FRI: 9:30 - 6 pm).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily academic, recreational, and enrichment activities for students.
- Ensure all activities align with developmental stages and academic needs of students.
- Mentor and support students in a positive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance student learning experiences.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.
- Pass background check.

Pay
- Student Support Associate: $15 - $17 per hour.
- After School Mentor: $13 - $15 per hour.
