Responsibilities

  • Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
  • Aid in the coordination and management of all functions and activities surrounding the student experience
  • Maintain accuracy and detail in records of student life cycle in school management database
  • Conduct regular audits of student files to ensure compliance
  • Enter and manage daily attendance to ensure accuracy and verification
  • Monitor and ensure GPA compliance for SAP (Student Academic Progression)
  • Participate in career fairs and coordinate career fair events
  • Communicate with salons and spas regarding student placement
  • Perform duties as assigned to meet business needs
  • Comply with all Nurtur policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, psychology, human resources, or other related field preferred
  • Prior professional experience in social services, human resources, or related fields
  • Self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness, and strong follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct
  • Familiarity with resumes, professional networks, and organizational roles
  • Ability to set and achieve goals, implement decisions, and work under strict deadlines

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Sit at a desk with a computer for up to eight (8) hours per day
  • Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms
  • Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear
  • See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
  • Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a corporate office setting
