Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout their visit.
• Receive food orders for your station, adding each ingredient as requested.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences provided by the guest.
• Maintain full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Handle guest situations with genuine empathy and escalate to a manager as needed.
• Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures, including daily checklists and side work assignments.
• Organize money and receipts in adherence to cash handling policies.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklists, including assisting with dishes, kitchen equipment, and detail cleaning.
• Prep and execute all menu items.
• Assist with setting up the seating area, including napkin and silverware stations.
• Assist with basic food preparation according to checklists and prep sheets.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Pay

The hourly pay range is $17.00 - $22.00 (plus tips, when eligible).
