Location: 📍 2025 Satellite Pointe Duluth, GA 30096 Schedule Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with one scheduled late day each week from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOccasional evenings and weekends may be required to support student events, campus activities, and other business needs. About The Role The Student Success Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting students from onboarding through graduation, with a primary focus on retention, certification completion, and academic persistence. This is not a passive student services role. You will “walk alongside” students—building trust while also pushing, motivating, and holding them accountable to complete certifications and stay on track. Success in this role is defined by your ability to engage students consistently, remove barriers, and drive measurable outcomes. You’ll manage a caseload of students and work cross-functionally with academics, admissions, and student support teams in a metrics-driven, performance-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Performance & Accountability Actively manage a student caseload and meet defined performance metrics, including:Retention and persistenceCertification readiness and attainmentGraduation progressionContribute to a performance-driven culture focused on measurable student outcomes Student Engagement & Advocacy Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for assigned studentsBuild strong relationships that foster trust, accountability, and follow-throughProactively identify and address barriers to persistence and certification completionSupport students with attendance, academic standing, and program navigation Retention & Certification Support Drive certification outcomes through early intervention, consistent follow-up, and milestone trackingPartner closely with Academic leadership and instructors to monitor student progressSupport students with resource referrals, accommodations, and escalation pathways as needed Data, Documentation & Compliance Accurately document all student interactions, engagement activities, and outcomes in CampusNexus and other systemsParticipate in cohort tracking, G&E chart confirmation, and required auditsContribute to weekly and monthly reporting tied to student success metrics Events, Programming & Collaboration Support and/or facilitate workshops, certification readiness initiatives, alumni events, and career fairsCollaborate with Academic, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Employer Engagement teams to ensure coordinated student supportParticipate in commencement and key student milestone events What We’re Looking For Education High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience 1–2+ years of experience in student services, advising, admissions, recruiting, workforce development, or a related roleExperience in a proprietary (for-profit), post-secondary education environment strongly preferredBackground in admissions or sales is highly beneficial Skills & Mindset Strong ability to motivate, influence, and hold students accountableExcellent communication skills with a student-centered approachStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working in a metrics-driven, performance-focused environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)CampusNexus experience preferred What Makes You a Great Fit You are a natural motivator—you know how to push people in a supportive, effective wayYou balance empathy with accountability and follow-throughYou are persistent and don’t give up on students easilyYou thrive in structured environments with clear goals and expectationsYou are comfortable having tough conversations when neededYou bring a positive, team-oriented mindset and take ownership of outcomes Benefits We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package that supports your personal and professional well-being.
