What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitating one-hour life skill workshops for high school students covering topics such as public speaking, concentration, and feedback skills, followed by measuring mastery via a structured Test2Pass evaluation
  • Conducting daily motivation sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics to engage with individual students, diagnose where they're encountering barriers in their learning applications, and help them overcome resistance
  • Create personalized motivational approaches with students, including reward systems and incentives that encourage self-directed advancement in their academic applications
  • Examine curriculum and lesson plans prior to each session, then adjust your delivery approach based on student engagement and needs

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Teaching academic content
  • Running a school or supervising a team
  • Enforcing discipline through traditional authority

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with high school students (ages 13-18)
  • Willing to work in-person in Oklahoma City, OK (relocation assistance available)

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program coordinator who has inspired teenagers outside traditional classroom settings
  • Demonstrated success leading groups toward quantifiable objectives (completion rates, performance metrics, behavioral improvements)
  • Familiarity with adaptive learning platforms or educational technology tools
  • Storytelling skills that captivate teenage audiences, delivered with cultural sensitivity and authenticity

Job Details

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
