About the role

This position involves various ministry functions including spiritual development, leadership development, resource development, direct ministry, and ministry support. The role also includes attending and being involved with area leadership as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Spiritual Development: Develop a yearly personal growth plan, seek and maintain relationships and disciplines, and actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
• Leadership Development: Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership on a regular basis, learn to recruit and train new leaders, and model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping.
• Resource Development: Raise financial support, communicate ministry updates, and assist with camp fundraisers.
• Direct Ministry: Engage in all three levels of contact work, participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry, and potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property.
• Ministry Support: Adhere to Young Life policies and procedures, set yearly ministry and personal goals, assist in office administration, complete expense reports, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Professionally adhere to Young Life policies and procedures.
• Maintain professionalism concerning office hours, dress, conduct, and time management.
• Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals and objectives.
• Absorb and gain competency in ministry skills through individualized training.
• Participate in regional and area training events as required.

Pay

The annual base salary for this position is between $19,790.00 - 23,530.00.
