About the role
The Student Success Technician is responsible for providing support and assistance to students to enhance their academic success and overall well-being. This position collaborates with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to identify and address individual student needs. The technician monitors student progress, organizes workshops or events, and promotes student engagement and involvement in school activities, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Refers individuals to the appropriate CNM resources and provides explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs.
- Delivers information via telephone, in person, and online.
- Performs general office duties, including data entry and retrieval, manual and electronic processing, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, and OSHA standards, and wears personal protective gear if required.
- Provides guidance and support to students by referring them to appropriate resources within CNM.
- Offers explanations and interpretations of CNM policies, procedures, and programs through various communication channels.
- Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience (experience as a student employee is considered).
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements of the position.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 6 pm; Friday, 8 am - 5 pm; occasional Saturdays.
