Student Services Coordinator Disability Services
About the role
The Student Services Coordinator will coordinate and determine appropriate accommodations and auxiliary aids and services for students with disabilities. They will work directly with students, faculty, and staff to facilitate an interactive process and the implementation of approved accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with students, faculty, and staff to facilitate an interactive process and the implementation of approved accommodations.
- Maintain confidentiality, keep accurate and up-to-date records in alignment with FERPA and DAS policy, and advocate for registered students with disabilities who require assistance.
- Consult with DAS Director and Associate Director on complex cases.
- Collaborate with DAS team members on outreach events and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A thorough understanding of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, ADA, and ADAA.
- Must be able to work in an in-person setting.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of FERPA and DAS policy.
Skills

Benefits
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Pay
Minimum $55,000.00
Maximum $64,000.00
