About the role

The Student Services Coordinator position at Hinds Community College serves as a resource for faculty regarding student issues. They also serve as a CTE registration contact person and participate in various college-sponsored activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for faculty regarding student issues.
• Serve as a CTE registration contact person.
• Participate in assigned college committees and various college-sponsored activities.
• Provide written correspondence for students needing or requesting information.
• Provide advisement and/or counseling to students who are on probation or who are identified as potential probationary students.
• Serve as a CTE registration contact person.
• Serve on assigned college committees and participate in various college-sponsored activities.
• Provide a variety of services to assist students in career exploration, planning, and graduation or educational goal attainment.
• Disseminate occupational information to students.
• Aid in the submission and documentation of reports for Carl Perkins.
• Maintain a system for logging in users and managing circulation.
• Provide an environment conducive for testing.
