Student Selection Representative

What You'll Do

• Guide prospective students through the enrollment journey, from first interest to their first day of class.
• Build real relationships with students and their families, earning trust and clearly communicating the value of our training.
• Close enrollment opportunities using strong sales skills and consistent, timely follow-up.
• Support the details that matter, including onboarding paperwork, housing documents, financial aid applications, loan options, and payment plans.
• Keep clean records and track your activity in our CRM, so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Hit your numbers and report on key metrics like lead conversion, application completion, and enrollment.
• Work as a team with the Student Selection group and other departments to give every student a smooth, positive experience.

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or beating targets.
• Strong communication, people, and presentation skills.
• The ability to build rapport and trust with all kinds of people.
• Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of welding or trade education is a plus, not a requirement.

Schedule

• Full-time, about 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Shifts fall between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm or 10:00 am and 8:00 pm, based on business needs.
• Occasional Saturday work.

Setting

• Office-based, with occasional travel to recruitment events or off-site locations.

Physical

• Mainly desk work using a computer and phone.
• Some standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

FLSA Status

• Exempt.

As a Student Selection Representative, you're often the first person a prospective student and their family talk to, and you guide them all the way from that first conversation to the day they start the program.
