Student Radiology Tech

About the role

This position performs the functions of a Radiologic Technologist under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Operates X-Ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role includes performing intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies under the direct supervision of a physician.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the Northside Hospital Radiologic Technology school or an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be a second-year student in radiology school.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
