Student Production Crew Member

Overview

Step into the spotlight with the Student Production Crew at the Gogue Performing Arts Center ! We are seeking enthusiastic Auburn University students to join our team. This unique, year-round position offers a chance to be at the heart of exciting performances and events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with load-in and set-up of audio and lighting equipment, scenery and costumes, for performances and events.
• Assist with load-out, by striking (take it down) audio and lighting equipment, scenery, costumes, and reloading trucks.
• Provides assistance with Theatre lighting, audio, or stage operations, as assigned by the Director of Production and/or Production Managers.
• Break down and remove equipment from spaces. Sort and store equipment in proper location in an orderly fashion.
• Collaborate, in a professional manner, with touring companies, while performing at the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: Enrolled student at Auburn University
• Preferred Qualifications: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with peers, patrons, donors, and co-workers over the phone or in person. Display substantial knowledge about GPAC facility layout, venues, and auxiliary spaces. Proficient knowledge of rules and regulations of each venue, to ensure safe and successful events are executed.
