Production Student Assistant
About the role
The Performing Arts Center at the University of Georgia seeks student production assistants to help ensure smooth operations during world-class events and performances. Tasks can vary widely but typically include setting up lighting, microphones, and speakers, focusing lights, assisting with artist entrances/exits, running spotlights, laying dance flooring, and artist security.

Requirements
This is a non-exempt, hourly position with varying hours based on need and student schedules. The position does not involve operation, access, or control of financial resources, nor does it require a P-Card. It does not involve driving, direct interaction or care of children under 18, or direct patient care. This position does not involve Security Access or a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a willingness to assist with various tasks at the Performing Arts Center, physical ability to perform the required work, and a positive attitude. No special certifications or licenses are required.
Skills
Essential skills include attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions. Previous experience in event production or theater is preferred but not required.
