(Student Position) WCA Production Assistant

Sheridan College student position – 2 openings. Work schedule is event-driven and will include weeknights and weekends.

About the role

Assist in music, theater, and other productions at Kinnison Hall and the Whitney Center for the Arts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down of stage for performances
• Operating lighting, sound, and A/V equipment
• Maintaining the concert hall as a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Good conduct and academic standing with Sheridan College
• Currently enrolled Sheridan College student
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Availability on weeknights and weekends

Qualifications

• Knowledge of live performance in a theater or similar venue
• Efficient communication skills
• Ability to problem solve quickly under pressure
• Stage lighting, live sound, or camera operation knowledge a plus but not required

Pay

$12.00 per hour
