Student Opportunities - Actuarial Internship - Summer 2027 (Hybrid)
About the role
The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking multiple undergraduate interns for their Pricing & Predictive Analytics and Corporate Actuarial departments for Summer 2027. Interns will work at the company's corporate headquarters in Fairfield, OH, which offers hybrid work options.
Responsibilities
- Gain meaningful work experience in insurance analytics and actuarial science
- Collaborate with a diverse team to solve complex problems
- Contribute to projects that support the company’s strategic goals
- Develop strong relationships with independent agents
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college/university majoring in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Finance, or a related discipline
- Passed at least one actuarial exam (preferred)
- In good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools (specifically Excel) and one or more programming languages such as R, SQL, SAS, etc. (preferred)
Qualifications
Candidates must be able to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship. This role is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship for Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
Starting range of pay: $25.00+ per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and number/type of exams passed.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule available - based at HQ in Fairfield, OH. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week.
