Student Nurse Intern
About the Role
As our Student Nurse, you will provide vital, supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations, leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff
- Monitors and records vital signs
- Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
- Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output
- Obtains and records daily weight
- Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter
- Delivers compassionate, organized, and compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement
- Accurately implements delegated patient tasks
- Ensures a safe, organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED, upon hire
- Must be enrolled and attending nursing school (must present proof)
- Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
