Student Nurse Clinical Placement
Overview
The Nursing student supports Fresenius Medical Care's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. They function as part of the hemodialysis health care team, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Success Profile
Nursing students must adhere to all facility and Fresenius Medical Care policies and procedures. Based on the length of the clinical placement, they may perform a range of duties such as escorting patients, assisting with vital signs, attending daily huddles, and more. They are responsible for setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP).
