About the role
Eyas Landing, a leading therapeutic clinic in Chicago, IL, offers a unique student placement opportunity to provide therapy to children and families in their clinic, schools, and homes. You will work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy
- Collaborate with a supportive, innovative team
- Work in a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, and homes
- Engage with children and families experiencing autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, or social work
- Interest and experience in the pediatric field
Qualifications
- Passionate about working with children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatrics
- Experience with play-based interventions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
