Student Media Program Coordinator
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent, overtime-eligible position located in Pullman, WA. The position is fully in-person.
About the role
As the Student Media Program Coordinator, you will provide critical financial, staffing, and public liaison support for the Office of Student Media. You will track advertising revenue, monitor student production, process stipends, and manage office operations. Additionally, you will staff the front desk and handle a variety of duties to keep the office functioning smoothly.
Pay
Monthly salary: $3,738 to $4,980 (Range 41 Steps A–M). Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience
- Experience in financial activities such as purchasing, personnel, and cost analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent command of English language and grammar
- Two years of professional work experience in higher education
- Strong work experience with Windows/Microsoft Office applications and web-based management
- Two years of work experience with Washington State University (WSU) systems (Workday, AIS, DEPPS, PERMS, etc.)
- Strong interest in the student experience at WSU
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of campus and community partners
