Pay Range: Targeted salary of $10.00-$13.00/hr, based on education and experience Benefits Eligible: No Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Travel: Not required Position Introduction Join the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education (JRCoE) team and help share our story at the University of Oklahoma. As a Student Marketing & Office Assistant, you will provide essential general office support while also contributing to marketing, communications, social media, events, and storytelling projects that showcase the people, programs, and impact of the College. You will have opportunities to support projects that engage prospective students, current students, alumni, educators, families, and community partners. You will play an important role in helping tell the story of the JRCoE and highlighting the difference our students, faculty, alumni, and programs make in education and in the communities they serve. Employment is for the Fall semester only. Student may be continued to Spring semester pending evaluation. Key Responsibilities Operations for Dean’s Office: Greeting and assisting visitorsAnswering and routing phone callsOperating standard office equipmentMaintaining physical and electronic files and recordsRunning campus errands and delivering mail or packagesRestocking supplies and organizing work areas and storage spacesAssisting with mailing and event materialsSupporting the setup and takedown of College eventsProviding general office support and cleaning as needed Marketing & Communications Support For Recruitment And Outreach Initiatives Create social media content for the College of Education involvement in campus events and student activitiesDesign brochures, digital graphics, and mailers for recruitment and donorsContribute to the planning of the college’s student organization social media accountsCollaborate with staff to ensure consistent messaging and design across all materialsAssist in developing Ambassador calendar for the week, month, and year.Help Track and analyze the performance of content to make improvements and optimize results. Required Education Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Required Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CapCut, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and font management tools.Strong attention to detailAble to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communication and collaboration skills Required Certifications And Licenses None Department Preferences None Hiring Contingent Upon a Background Check: No
