About the role
The Student Leadership & Success Intern serves as a central operational and support role for the Department of Student Leadership & Success. This position provides high-level coordination, communication, logistical, and programmatic support to ensure the successful execution of leadership development, scholarship, retention, student engagement, and Early College High School initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and scheduling for the Executive Director and departmental initiatives.
- Aid in student tracking, engagement documentation, and program communications.
- Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for students, families, faculty, and community partners.
- Coordinate workshops, mentoring activities, leadership events, and student outreach.
- Assist with departmental purchasing, invoices, travel requests, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
- IT & Data Analytics.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year of experience/related course work or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of higher education student support environments preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, databases, and CRM systems preferred.
