About the role
The Intern will work directly with the PATH grant ensuring appropriate administration and that all federal requirements and state standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the annual release and initiation of contracts to PATH grantees.
- Completing and submitting the annual PATH performance report to SAMHSA including collecting and reporting on grantee performance.
- Development of annual budget.
- Deliver quarterly training on SOAR program for new practitioners.
- Collaborate with team on ensuring SOAR program outcomes are met and practitioners receive ongoing support and technical assistance.
- Conduct annual onsite monitoring of PATH grantees and provide written feedback.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on street outreach efforts and coordinate services and best practice sharing.
- Always represent the best interests of MDHHS and MPHI.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Within one year of completing a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- One year of professional work experience.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public presentation skills.
- Strong skills with Office 365 applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
Typical office environment. Some travel for meetings.
Pay
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule
30 hours per week
