About The Job The Student Radiologic Technologist supports Diagnostic Radiology services under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. This role performs imaging exams, assists with procedures, prepares patients, and ensures safe, compassionate care while maintaining high technical standards. The position may also include Tech Aide responsibilities within the CT Department. What You’ll Do Review patient medical information and reconcile exam orders with physician requestsComplete required documentation, consents, and questionnaires prior to imagingPerform diagnostic radiographic exams—including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures—under supervisionEvaluate image quality, ensure proper documentation, and present studies to RadiologistsAssist Radiologists with invasive fluoroscopic proceduresPrepare and administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast per protocolTransport and operate portable X-ray equipmentSupport CT Technologists by transporting and positioning patients, preparing contrast, and providing pre- and post-exam instructionsPractice radiation safety in accordance with ALARA guidelinesUse RIS and PACS systems proficientlyMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationsDemonstrate compassion, patience, and effective communication in all interactionsUtilize patient safety equipment and appropriate shielding during exams Who You Are A student enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology programDetail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality diagnostic imagesComfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with diverse patient populationsCompassionate, patient-centered, and skilled in communicating clearly with patients and clinical teamsEager to learn, adaptable, and able to follow direction from registered technologists and Radiologists Why You’ll Love Us Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employees Short-term, long-term disability, life & pet insurance Tuition reimbursement & Nursing Student Loan Paydown Program 403(b) Retirement savings plans Continuous earned time accrual & more!
