Student Helper - Transportation (Temporary)
Wage Rate
$18.58 – $20.43 hourly, based on credit‑hour completion.
- Level 1 – $18.58 per hour: student helpers who have completed less than 45 quarter or 30 semester credit hours toward a college degree.
- Level 2 – $20.43 per hour: student helpers who have completed at least 45 quarter or 30 semester credit hours.
Schedule
Full‑time hours are available during the summer; reduced, flexible part‑time hours are offered during the academic year.
Minimum Job Requirements
- College Student Helper – must provide proof of admission to an accredited college or university, intend to continue enrollment as a full‑time student in the next quarter or semester (excluding summer), maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, maintain full‑time student status, and possess a current Washington state driver’s license if the job requires it.
- High School Student Helper (occasionally needed) – must provide proof of enrollment in high school or a GED program (GED must be completed within one year of the first date of employment), maintain full‑time student status, maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher, and possess a current driver’s license if the job requires it.
- A current transcript is required to establish the appropriate wage level.
