Student Health and Wellness Nurse
Language & Literacy Academy for Learning is seeking a reliable and compassionate Student Health and Wellness Nurse to join our team in Winter Haven, FL. This position supports student health in a structured, school-based setting, contributing directly to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and respond to acute illnesses and injuries.
- Support students with ongoing health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
- Develop and manage individualized healthcare plans.
- Administer medications in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate health and immunization records.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, counselors, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- RN, LPN, or med tech experience.
- Ability to manage student health needs and emergencies.
- Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe and healthy school environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Schedule
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
