Student Food Service Worker (Anderson University Books & Beans)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, adhering to temperature requirements and avoiding spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products, and utensils.
• Engage with guests in the serving, retail, and dining areas, following proper guest service procedures including smiling, maintaining eye contact, and greeting guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to client and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a high pace and capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professionalism and respect in communication with team members and other departments.
• Professional relationships with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
