Student Finance Processor

About the role

This group will be tasked with maintaining Student’s Accounts by posting any and all transactions, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with the school’s bank account. Communicating with student account representatives and ensuring accuracy of any account written off to third party collection agencies.

Essential Functions

• Ensure all student accounts are correct by posting all receivables and required refunds
• Processing all waivers as issued by Admissions
• Handling all questions through the 1098T request
• Managing the collections portfolio for all Escoffier entities
• Working with Financial Aid to ensure student refunds are submitted through the correct method
• Completing all IRC for students who have dropped
• Processing all Credit Balances
• Maintaining records of refunds and drawdowns from federal sources
• Completing monthly write off processes
• Replying to emails from SA shared inbox
• Handling billing of third parties when requested

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of FA Processes
• Excellent communications skills
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of people
• High School Diploma or GED/ Bachelors Degree preferred
• 1 year of Student Accounts Processing experience

Pay

The expected hourly range for this position is between $21.00 and $22.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.

Schedule

This is a fully remote position. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions, a reliable high-speed internet connection, and the ability to work a standard 8-hour workday.
