About the role

iE-USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational exchange organization founded in 2002, devoted to building and strengthening relationships and understanding among people worldwide through cultural exchange. The organization provides individual care and direct support to exchange students, host families, local schools, and team members, and is certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET).

Responsibilities

• Bring people together and make a real difference in the lives of teenagers and families in your local community and worldwide.
• Build and strengthen relationships locally and globally.
• Spend as little as 2-5 hours per month meeting people from other countries and cultures.
• Help find caring host families in your local community.
• Assist host families with selecting the right exchange student for their family.
• Support students and host families during their exchange experience.
• Decide how you want to help based on your interests and availability.
