Student Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Create inventory report to capture values and identify potential cost-savings opportunities
• Create material tracking tool for customer inventory
• Batch step updates utilizing industry standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and processes, specifically in Oracle (OBI)
• Design and implement backlog report in Excel for tracking movement of material
• Safety initiatives and participation in safety observations and stand downs
• Continuous improvement and 5S activities across manufacturing areas
• Manage and update the occasion reporting system in alignment with the hourly attendance policy
• Support daily production and operations reporting activities
• Aid in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on critical KPIs
• Aid in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for operations leadership
• Assist with operations teams with projects, problem-solving activities, and administrative tasks

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Systems-minded with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional operations teams
• Interest in manufacturing processes, lean principles, and operational efficiency
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
