Student Engagement Specialist, Alpha - $100,000/year USD

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitating one-hour life skill workshops for high school students covering topics such as public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange, followed by measuring mastery via a structured Test2Pass assessment
• Conducting daily motivation sessions that leverage Coachbot analytics to engage individual students, diagnose obstacles in their learning apps, and help them overcome resistance
• Co-creating personalized motivational strategies with students, incorporating rewards and incentives that promote self-directed advancement in their academic apps
• Reviewing curriculum materials and lesson plans prior to each session, then adjusting delivery based on real-time student engagement

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any subject
• 3+ years of experience working directly with high school students (ages 13-18)
• Willing to work in-person in Oklahoma City, OK (relocation assistance available)

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program leader who has motivated teenagers outside traditional classroom settings
• Proven track record of guiding groups toward measurable outcomes (completion rates, performance benchmarks, behavior change)
• Experience with adaptive learning platforms or ed-tech tools
• Storytelling skills that capture and hold a room of teenagers' attention, delivered with cultural awareness and relatability

Working with us

• This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
• The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
• The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
• The payment period is weekly.
