Student Employment - Theatre Technician (part-time)

About the Role
The Receiving Clerk accepts all purchased products into the Culinary Arts Institute, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders. Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly. Issues and delivers items to departments in accordance with the requisition.
Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders
- Maintain and organize storeroom according to established standards
- Rotate stock as required
- Issue and deliver items to departments based on requisitions
- Communicate effectively with a diverse range of people to maintain good working relationships across the College
- Work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with disabilities
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push up to 100 pounds
- Basic food identification knowledge
- Solid understanding of safe food handling practices
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task assigned duties
- Work-study award through the Federal College Work-Study program (financial need must be established via FAFSA)
