Student Employment - ADS Specialist
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. All employees are expected to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date.
About the Role
Work Study staff with Accessibility & Disability Services support the daily operations of the ADS office, helping to ensure a welcoming and accessible experience for students. This role involves providing classroom assistance, front desk reception, clerical support, event assistance, and collaboration with staff and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Be a reader/scribe for students in their classroom and/or testing
- Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors at the front desk
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage data entry
- Assist with planning and executing department events and outreach activities
- Provide general support to ADS staff and contracted service providers
- Maintain organized records and contribute to efficient office operations
- Support campus-wide efforts to improve access for students with disabilities
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Must be approved for Federal Work Study
