Student Employee - Precision Machining

Workweek up to 20 hours per week; schedule will vary based on the student's availability.

Position Summary

Assist in lab and classroom.

Responsibilities

• Clean the lab and classroom
• Prepare materials for labs (equipment operation may be required)
• Basic equipment maintenance and organization
• Assist Faculty as required to support labs
• Assemble training aids
• Test student exercises
• Must be able to push or lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background Check
• Completion of New Employee Training
• Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)
• Excellent communication skills

If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
