Student Employee - COTC Mascot - TC the Cat

Summary of Duties

• Support the Marketing and Communications department by assisting with marketing campaigns, recruitment, retention, and public relations initiatives.
• Represent the College at campus events, primarily outside of regular business hours, by serving as the institutional mascot and engaging with students, employees, and community members.
• Maintain the mascot costume to ensure it is clean, safe, and performance-ready, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote college programs and enhance campus engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Has an interest in marketing, communications, and public relations.
• Exhibits excellent physical stamina and endurance to perform in a Mascot costume for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends to accommodate event schedules.
