Student - Dining Services Catering Dishwasher

Position Announcement Utah Valley University Dining Services is seeking a student to assist with Catering Services’ dishwasher duties. Summary Of Responsibilities Duties vary and include, but are not limited to:Day-to-day dishroom operations; proper sink, floor, and dishware care; and cleaning and safety procedures.Use proper cleaning techniques with all dining ware, dishware, and silverware.Maintain the use of supplies, chemicals, and equipment from the dishroom & laundry area.All student workers need to be friendly, helpful, and able to follow directions from their supervisor. Employees are required to arrive at work on time, in a clean uniform, and fulfill the duties assigned to them. Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications Must be a current UVU student.Must be able to work 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Must be able to walk, bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods of time.
