Responsibilities
- Conducting counseling sessions for students.
- Consult with faculty, staff, and parents regarding student concerns and make referrals to appropriate resources, both on and off-campus.
- Develop and implement outreach programs and workshops to promote student well-being and prevent mental health issues.
- Carry out assessments to identify student needs and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling interventions.
- Create annual reports.
- Oversee and supervise junior psychologists.
- Plan the annual calendar.
- Oversee and plan workshops and events.
- Conduct workshops for students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
- Psychologist with 3-5 years’ experience in academic institutions needed for a part-time role.
- Experience in providing counseling services to students in a higher education setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of student development theory and counseling techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
