About the role
Position Announcement Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work as a costume shop stitcher.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and alteration of costumes for productions in the School of the Arts departments of Theatre, Dance, and Music.
- Construct and alter costumes under the direction of the Costume Shop Supervisor.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of costume stock, equipment, and space.
- Assist with costume needs for productions in the Noorda Center including laundry, repairs, and wardrobe run crew.
Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
Skills
- Knowledge of care, maintenance, and storage of costumes.
- Basic hand sewing skills.
- Ability to operate a sewing machine.
