Student Care

About the role

The Student Care role is an on-site position located at our new Missouri City, TX campus. This role focuses on supporting students’ well-being, safety, and daily school experience, working closely with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring student behavior in common areas
• Assisting with arrival and dismissal procedures
• Helping students navigate schedules, transitions, and basic needs throughout the day
• Supporting minor conflict resolution
• Encouraging positive conduct
• Referring students to appropriate staff when additional academic or emotional support is needed

Qualifications

• Student support and care skills, including relationship-building, active listening, and a patient, calm approach to guiding children and adolescents.
• Behavior management and supervision abilities, such as monitoring groups of students, reinforcing school expectations, and using positive strategies to support conduct.
• Communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, families, teachers, and administrators in a professional, respectful manner.
• Organizational and record-keeping skills to manage daily procedures, document relevant student information, and follow established school processes.
• Dependability and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards, with a strong sense of responsibility for student well-being.
• Experience in a school, youth program, or child-facing environment preferred; familiarity with classical education is a plus.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in education, counseling, or child development is beneficial.
