Summary Description
The TOPPAN internship program is designed to provide hands-on experiences and opportunities to understand TOPPAN’s culture and processes. It blends project work with learning about the company's culture and potential career paths.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Attend quality gemba walks to monitor product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Technical Manager, Process Engineer, and Management Team.
- Provide project support for the Global Performance System (GPS) Pillars.
- Attend Production Meetings, Focused Improvement Meetings, and other GPS Meetings as necessary.
- Support Certificates of Analysis and Customer Specifications.
- Scan production jobs for color accuracy via ColorCert.
- Maintain GPS KPIs/Loss charts and report out to management.
- Utilize GlobalVision system to inspect finished products.
- Support Defect detection and Vision systems.
- Review Vision system reports and provide feedback to management team.
- Help design, implement, and maintain new quality systems.
Location
This is an onsite position based out of our Waco, Texas Facility.

- If currently pursuing a college degree, preferably related to Manufacturing/Operations.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional roles with support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, adept at working with data.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Compensation
Compensation varies based on the year of college student is enrolled in:
- Freshman - $15.50
- Sophomore - $16.25
- Junior - $18.00
- Senior - $19.50
