Position Details

The University of Georgia is seeking a Student Assistant to support the Soil and Plant Sciences Laboratory within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Grinding and drying of soil (30%)
• Aid in sample receiving, making up soil sets for routine and special analysis (25%)
• Assist with sample preparation, processing, and analysis (25%)
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab area and perform other duties as assigned (20%)

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Basic computer skills
