Student Assistant, NCSA, Pollinator Ecology & Garden Coordinator

About the role

This position will take care of the pollinator gardens for New College of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain pollinator gardens on campus (perennial pollinator beds and other pollinator infrastructure such as pollinator hotel, puddling area, etc. in the Z‑dorm garden)
• Watering, pruning, weeding, and replanting (if a plant dies)
• Teach Pollinator Ecology and Conservation
• Coordinate with other garden coordinators to maintain the weekly garden volunteer day
• Attend weekly CGA meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Student of New College of Florida
• Able to work outside
• Work well with others who visit the gardens
