About the role

This position will be educating and promoting best practices in composting and food waste reduction.

Responsibilities

• Educating and promoting best practices in composting and food waste reduction
• Collecting communal compost bins from dorms and academic buildings
• Teaching compost tutorials
• Educating the campus community about sustainability and composting
• Maintaining open lines of communication with housing and physical plant
• Processing and distributing compost to all campus institutions or individuals that would like it
• Attending weekly CGA meetings
• Other duties as assigned
