Student Assistant, Instruction Management Office

Students in good academic standing enrolled in the JSSOM MD program who have successfully completed GAR within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory exercises in conjunction with the course syllabus and lectures.
• Organize the laboratory and maintain equipment functionality.
• Set up laboratory specimens and equipment for scheduled laboratory sessions.
• Create videos of anatomical models, Anatomage, or specimens.
• Proctor laboratory practical quizzes.
• Other duties may be assigned in accordance with curricular objectives and learning outcomes.

Regular attendance is vital. All teaching assistants are expected to follow supervisor instructions and fulfill any other job-related tasks as needed.

Primary location: Marvin Graves Building, Galveston, Texas.
