STUDENT ASSISTANT - EDITOR-IN-CHIEF - FOGHORN NEWS POOL

Job Duties

• Manage a team of volunteers and other paid student assistants.
• Responsible for design of Foghorn News pages.
• Write stories, shoot photos and produce videos.

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to lead Del Mar’s student newspaper, the Foghorn News. Minimum Qualifications: Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a college publication or other news publication preferred. Graphic artist experience is a plus. Knowledge of AP style preferred. Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred. Skilled in video editing preferred.
