Student Assistant (Dining Admin)

The University of Georgia is seeking a Student Assistant (Dining Admin) to assist the Dining Services Administrative team. This position is located in the Athens Area.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Answering the phone and taking messages
• Directing inquiries to the appropriate person
• Administrative work (note taking, filing, data entry)
• Learning about the meal plan enough to answer basic questions
• Aiding in administrative tasks
• Helping in the dining commons when necessary

Special Instructions to Applicants

Must be a current UGA Student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the semester. Must Use “Other Documents #1” to attach Athena class schedule.

Position Information

The Student Assistant (Dining Admin) will be responsible for assisting the Dining Services Administrative team with working the front desk, answering phones, assisting with various tasks and helping in the dining commons when necessary.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods of time
• Sitting in front of a computer
• Lifting up to 20 lbs
