Student Ambassador Main Campus

About the role

A Student Ambassador is a representative of the student body at Admissions events and in the community. Ambassadors must present and communicate a positive public image of North Central Missouri College and of themselves as a student of the college.

Responsibilities

• Give campus tours to prospective students
• Assist with special on-campus events such as Senior Visit Day, the NCMC College Fair, and group events
• Provide information to prospective students and inquiries
• Perform data entry of inquiry information into PowerCampus
• Perform document imaging by scanning documents into ImageNow software
• Send out mailings to prospective students
• Call prospective students
• Manage Ambassador Facebook page
• Assist the office staff with phone coverage, processing incoming mail, filing, running errands to the bookstore, and other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must be a current NCMC student
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills

Physical Demands

• Able to lift 20 lbs
• Work outside on campus tours in inclement weather
• Walk around campus multiple times a day
• Climb stairs
