About the role
We are seeking a passionate full-time Student Accounts Specialist to join our Campus Scholars team. Your primary responsibilities will include processing ledger card charges, student billing, past due account follow up, account prorations, packaging non-title IV funding and collections processes.
Responsibilities
- Packaging payment plans and setting up automatic emails/texts for payment reminders
- Posting student payments and responding to student inquiries regarding payment plans
- Reviewing and posting charges after the add/drop period
- Reminding students of delinquent payments and notifying Student Success Coaches if a student becomes two months overdue
- Notifying Student Success Coaches if final payment in quarter has not been paid prior to term end
- Working with Financial Aid to ensure packaging is updated for students who have been identified as not funded or underfunded
- Working with Financial Aid before the new academic year starts for continuing students to identify students that will have new payment plans and getting payment plans set up
- Processing student account prorations
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in the student accounts functional area in a college or university setting
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in financial aid
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, or education)
- Relevant certifications or professional development in financial aid administration preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- An ethical and professional conduct, ensuring confidentiality and privacy of student information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and concise information to diverse audiences
- Experience with Microsoft and Google applications

Pay
$47,000 - $56,000 base salary, plus equity grant
Schedule
Location: Atlanta, GA
Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm EST daily, remote Monday & Friday.
