Responsibilities

- Perform sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe and associated components. - Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials. - Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling. - Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases. - Adhere to FAA regulations and Repair Station policies. - Ensure accurate maintenance entries on forms and work orders. - Maintain work areas and ensure proper housekeeping. - Follow procedures for work away from the Repair Station. - Properly handle and tag parts throughout the repair process. - Conduct incoming inspections to ensure parts are airworthy. - Ensure no defective, non-conforming, or un-airworthy parts are installed. - Communicate effectively in English. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent, and an Airframe and Powerplant License preferred. - Valid driver's license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory). - Prior aircraft sheet metal repair experience highly recommended. - Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Reliable transportation and attendance as scheduled. - Ability to follow company and safety rules. - Customer-oriented work habits.

Physical Requirements

- Lift up to 70 lbs. - Perform routine walking, bending, squatting, and sitting. - Perform repetitive physical motions with arms and hands. - Climb ladders and stairs. - Stand for long periods. - Lift and move equipment and tools.

Mental Requirements

- Understand and implement regulations and guidelines. - Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation. - Work with others professionally. - Supervise other technicians as needed.

Working Conditions

- Work in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations. - Exposure to dust, fumes, and noise.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $39.00 - $49.00. Additional compensation includes a shift differential, semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan with employer match, and health insurance options. Benefits effective day one include medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA and FSA options, life insurance, disability benefits, and supplemental benefits. Flexible work schedules, including 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12, are offered, along with weekly competitive pay and internal mobility opportunities.
