Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on structural repair, fabrication, installation, and modification of airframe components using approved data and methods.
- Execute work orders, engineering orders, and service bulletins in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and company policies.
- Cookordination with Planning, Engineering, Quality Control, and Materials to support project milestones.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of job documentation.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety practices and FOD prevention protocols.
- Support internal and customer audits and assist in resolving discrepancies and non-conformances.
- Report progress, delays, and concerns to the Crew Lead, Maintenance Manager, or DOM in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical training in aircraft structures preferred.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Airframe and/or Powerplant certificate preferred (not always required for structures).
- Experience with hands-on experience performing aircraft structural maintenance.
- Experience in heavy maintenance, modifications, skin and frame repair, and composite work on business jets, regional, or commercial aircraft.
- Working knowledge of aircraft manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations (FAR 43, 145).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and SRM/AMM documentation.
- Proficient in use of sheet metal tools, precision measurement instruments, and basic fabrication techniques.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
- Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
